Let’s connect!

Do you ever wish that life came with an
instruction manual?

It can be overwhelming and confusing trying to navigate this thing we call life.

Especially when it feels like we’re on our own… and we have no idea what the hell we are doing or what direction to take.

“It seems like all of my friends are living the ‘Instagram-perfect’ life. How can I keep up and stop feeling left behind?”

“My teen just doesn’t seem themselves anymore… they used to seem happy. I don’t know what changed, and they won’t talk to me about it.”

“Why can’t my parent just leave me alone and lighten up? They make everything a big deal… none of my friends’ parents are as strict as they are.”

Why does my family put so much pressure on me to have my life together  the way they think it should be?

Feeling a loss of trust and disconnect…

The teen years are a crucial time. There are so many changes happening in the mind and body.

When they don’t feel like anyone understands them or have no one they can talk to, teens can develop unhealthy patterns of coping… self-harm, substance use, or other at-risk behaviors with peers.

This behavior leads to disconnect and conflict in the family – it could put parents at odds trying to figure out the best way to help their teen. It can put sibling against sibling.

Unresolved issues don’t just vanish over time…

They stay with us and seep out into other areas our lives.

The mid-late teens and early 20s is our last big shot to intervene and make positive change in these crucial developmental stages. It’s vital to seek help early to prevent negative patterns from solidifying…

The constant cycle of worry, fear, and frustration of figuring out how to help your teen – running out of patience and time. Your teen is slipping away, and you’re not sure how to get them back.

There’s pressure for teens and young adults to figure out who they are and what they’re doing with the rest of their life. Feeling more isolated, rejected, and resenting their parents for not getting it.

Adulting is HARD! Confused and frustrated that others have it figured out; embarrassed and ashamed if we don’t. Overwhelmed with a mountain of new responsibilities and expectations without the skills to be successful.

You don’t have to figure it out
on your own.

This is where I come in.

Let me help you reconnect with your teen or young adult and help them connect with their best self.

Together, we can figure out what you need most right now and what first steps to take to begin checking things off your “adulting to-do” list.

Let me help you transition into this next stage of life – successfully. College life, roommates, bills, basic needs, relationships, finding a job and maintaining one, finding yourself…

Let’s connect!

Hi, I’m Stacey.

I’ll help you navigate the next steps toward living a healthier, supported, and fulfilling life.

I help parents and teens strengthen their relationship. Together, we work to improve family trust and communication, and break undesirable family patterns from repeating.

Teens are dealing with so many challenges today – more than we probably faced when we were teens. I teach teens healthy and effective coping skills. I also help teens develop a healthy relationship with self and peers by fostering deep self-exploration of all levels of identity development.

When working with young adults, I help them successfully transition into adulthood by exploring barriers to success and alleviating social pressures. I teach “adulting” skills and other essential life skills to create space for your true self to shine and engage in each day more successfully.

I support family process and healing after difficult transitions, trauma, and grief and loss.

We’ll dive into the deep systemic work needed to identify and break dysfunctional family patterns and create a healthier and more effective way of connecting.

My office is a safe space for teens, young adults, and families of all communities to feel heard and supported. I provide customized goal setting, action planning, and take-home tools and resources for each of my clients; and I work with your schedule, offering both evening and weekend office hours.

Let me help you carry some of the weight.

It’s not easy being a teen, and it’s not easy raising one!
